I did check. The leak is coming from the back of the pump and the fluid is ATF. I am just wondering if I need to remove anything else before I can remove the pump itself.

I take you checked all your connecting hoses for leakage.
As far as I remmember the power steering pump is the lowest point, so any system leak whould appear to come from the pump.
I thightend all hose connectors and my problem was gone.
There appear to be to different pumps, which because of the two different belt attachment wheels are not interchangeable.
I hope this info is correct since I only relay back what is left in my memory from a couple of years back.
