Hi Ralf
Sorry I did not reply to your e:mail, but I recieved 3 Bad trans viruses & to be on the safe side I completly emptied my mailbox.
The firm I got my heater core off have two branches.

315 THE Roundway
Tottenham
London
N17 7AE
Phone: 020 8801 2277 Fax: 020 8365 1510

14 Dickermill Ind Estate
Mill road
Hertford
Phone: 01992 584012

The heater core cost me £96.82 inc VAT

Getting back to the problem I have with the hot wires & relay,I have the standard heating system (no A/C or C/C) When you drop down the heater control panel the relay sits on top of all the wires on the left hand side.I does not seem to get hot if I use the Defrost button, but it gets so hot you can hardly touch it when I use any of the other buttons.I wondered if it could be the relay causing this or if I have done something when I put the new heater core in.
Regards
Tony
