When I did the math, the cost of just insuring the second car was much more than the extra gas used by the 3.5
So I did a couple k of improvements and enjoyed the big car
If you need two cars -different story

Actually here (Switzerland), you can get a secoud car covered by the same ansurance, only the engine size most be smaller or equivalent as your first car. So you can take the plate off your first car, put it on your secound car, and drive...
