Bob,
Just did the JC Whitless remote last Friday. Piece "o" cake!

Use Figure 3N for BMW (instructions). I tapped at the power lock brain next to the steering wheel.

The remote Green goes to the yellow/black, the remote white goes to brown, the remote yellow goes to green/black. I wired the remote black to chasis ground and the remote red to constant +.

As Stein says the customer assistance is not there. Best $40 I've spent on the beast. Only quirk is my remote has three buttons, lock/unlock, alarm and start. Mine locks on the lock/unlock and unlocks on alarm. For $40 I can live with it.
