Wiring diagram for Dashboard (A/C controls, etc.) (archive)

I disassembled the dash in my sons 733i, the A/C fan switch (the wheel) had jammed and would not let the fan turn on. By physically moving the little blocking switch out of the way a forcing the wheel past the stuck position, we freed the fan switch and the A/C now works. However, there is an extra plug and we cannot figure our where it goes. It is a black rectangular male plug with 3 contacts, a space, then another contact ( ooo o ) and it looks like this and is about the same size. Do you know where i might find a schematic of this area. The wires are brown, lav/white and 2 others.
