Hi all-

I have an eratic temp guage problem on my e23. What happens is the needle will jump around whenever I put an electrical load on the vehicle electric system. For example, I put on the blinker and with every blink the temp needle will jump up about 1 needle width, then return to where it was when the blink is over. The more electrical things I put on, the higher the needle goes.
None of this happens when the needle is in the cold range, however it starts happening and gets more and more exaggerated as the car warms up.
I have hooked an Ohm meter up to the sensor and, to my suprise, found no indication (infinate ohms)... is this normal? I then hooked a volt meter into the two wires coming off it and measured the voltage with the engine warm and running- The voltage did go down a little with each addition electrical item I turned on. Maybe it's supposed to stay at 6 volts?
Any solutions/suggestions? Thanks.
