Electrical probs cont...What is the small thing... (archive)

Behind the front drivers side speaker there is another smaller silver box that is under the OBC and is very inaccesable, but has wires comming from it. Also, if I remember correctly, I have a small rust hole right under the "thing" could this be causing some of the irratic behavior of my electronics? and What is it!?!?

I think it may be the casue of my radio's problems also, since I installed the speaker upside down, and I noticed when I touched the smaller speaker wire (positive, I think) to the silver box the radio would cut out, just like it has been doing......so I may have one problem solved.... (hopefully!)


I havent been able to test the Temp gauge yet.....no one was up and availbe to help at 1:30am when I was working on it....

I havent figure out the OBC problems, but the definatly seem to be cold related....the OBC counts 1 min as 2 min when cold, and the display flashes and random lights light up, then when warm, it counts time as 1 min is 30 seconds and the display is normal....
