I remember at one time all the tech geeks in the computer industry were warning how eventually
everyones mother board was going to die because of cheap condensors [capacitors] being used. Well, it never happened - People upgrade their computers constantly and therefore never give them a chance to wear out. I do know this- nothing lasts forever... How many 17 year old
TV s are still working? Radios?? For the 5.00 this would cost I would certainly give it a try.
Have you priced the replacement cost of the circuit board? One thing you can assume is that you don't want to put a used one in. Also- when you replaced your batteries before- did you charge them first? Good Luck

I did see three different capacitors on my board. Of course, they are not the same as the ones on the e32 (thanks for the link by the way), but could they still be at fault? I understand you don't have any personal experience with this problem but any other help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Nick
