If you part it out would be interested in ECU.

Yep, you might have noticed my postings asking about a mechanic in the NYC area (AKA: Pincus), well your generous advice seems to have lead me to this next question: Who wants to buy a 1984 733i?

I took it to 2 mechanics, they both basically said it needs a new rocker arm and valve work, possibly a new cylinder head, but won't know until the head is pulled and they can see inside- could be cylinder or piston damage, but they don't think so. There are other minor problems, but I have absolutely no doubt it can be made 100% rather easily by a knowledgable owner (something I am not).

You might have seen this pretty machine on ebay about a month ago from a guy in Staten Island- I bought it. It has a very good body (white) and what I would consider excellent interior (red leather and blonde wood), power everything seems to work fine. The car actually drives fine- though it idles like a bastard.

Make me an offer, i still want to have a car, so i will consider any make/ model trades or cash/trade proposals.
If I don't get any decent offers, I'll probably have the work done and hope for the best- so if someone can offer a good source for a remanufactured cylinder head let me know, has anyone heard anything about Alumitech? Any other advice is welcome.

Thanks
