I cannot get the light to work on the OBC display. I can see the readout very dimly, but cannot get the thing to light up. I replaced the slide-out bulbs from another unit I had, but still does not work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Well I changed the OBC and the newer unit did not have a working lite bar. So I used the one from my removed OBC. How about that the light bar knew its life was over when I removed it and it did not work anymore although it worked fine the day before in the car. So I changed the bulbs on the lite bar and have lites in my newer OBD. Used radio shack 6V bulbs, as they are wired in series (thanks bimmer.org board somewhere for that tip). So check the light bar with a volt-ohm meter. Maybe one lite is bad making it non functioning.
