If memory serves then I do remember that on the top left corner there's a hole where there's a light sensitive potentiometer. In the day the display is bright but if you cover up the hole with your finger it dims the display. My OBC is the German one. Just a shot in the dark or my WAG for the day.

I cannot get the light to work on the OBC display. I can see the readout very dimly, but cannot get the thing to light up. I replaced the slide-out bulbs from another unit I had, but still does not work. Does anyone know how to fix this?
