I had the E28 wheels on.
On the back I kept the tyre size of 205/70 VR14
On the front I went down to a 205/60 VR14.
Now I don't know if this is legal and it does create a bit of a gap between the tyre and the wheel arch. But the entire car got a nice tilt and topspeed was increased considerably.
Lower to the ground is always better and the drag was reduced.
As for the speedo. It still will work correctly as the sensor unit is in the diff. and the wheels there are of the right size.
As I questioned before, I am not sureabout legality of this mix.
Regards
Ralf
