Hold on whats the Cstle Nut size again?

22mm for casltle nut.

About the torque specs listed above. I was looking at a Chiltons (piece of shit) for ref. It said tighten the water pump bolts to 16-17 ft/lbs and the castle nut to 210 ft/lbs.

While putting the water pump back on a bolt just broke off (luckily after re-removing the water pump I could get enough of a purchase on the threads I was able to spin it out of the block using pliers) Also while aproaching the 16-17 lbs I spun another bolt head through one of the washers i.e 2 pcs. It is a 10mm bolt head, can you tell me what size thread that equals to what you have posted above? Otherwise I have to get out my calipers again. (figured you might know off the top of your head)

Also the 210 ft/lbs for the castle nut can't be correct in the chiltons either b/c I didn't get anywhere near that and the whole hub was unable to rotate anymore. I broke the castle nut off the first time by hitting the end of the 1/2" drive w/ my hand! Lightly!

So what did I learn. The chiltons manual is good for starting fires on those cold winter nights. I am really F#&*@ pissed about this. Who needs a generic shop manual when you have a JENS tm. Ha

Sincerely
Brian
