It misses just at idle or all the time? Driving
it while it continues to miss is a bad thing TBH.
All kinds of bad things happen when needed repairs
are overlooked. Let's say it all started with an
open plug wire end (normally what fails), the
increase in kv demand will increase the inductive kick not only in the secondary but also the primary side which is a root cause of many coil
and wire set failures. Now, add to that incomplete
combustion, oil contaminated with fuel, lubrication properties break down and wear increases on all of the frictional surfaces in the engine, and generally a simple cause left
undone takes a serious toll on your wallet.
I'm not trying to kick you when you're down, I
just hope it's not too late to prevent some future damage.
How 'bout a good visual of all of the secondary ignition components (plugs, cap, etc.) as well
as some of the other suggestions made by the list?
