You did replaice the voltage reg.
as well I assume?
and I'm sure you also installed a new belt?
Check for slag, and also check your main
"GROUND" wires that they are clean at the
block.
One more thing, these cars have a tendancy
to carote the wiris within underneath the
plastic, I/E Main power and Ground cables.
