I shelled out the bucks and filled the tank some more. (Those 100L fuel tanks are costly to fill... but last such a long time!) And voila it stopped the nasty problem. Although I did not get her much past 1/3 temp so I will have to find out what she is like when hot. I also added some injector cleaner just to see if that helps. The silly girl still misses some at idle, though not as much.

1/4 tank in your case could cause it,
succking to mutch air,
trye to fill it 3/4 of a tank and see again.

Also hard starting = Vacuum or cold start valve
