Converting to LPG would cut this in half.

Although this speed limit , well there is a disadvantage.

I suppose if I would restrain myself and not drive at top speed on the Autobahn carrying 480 cans of "Pilsner" and 60 Bottles of wine back to England, that I possibly would get 450 miles rather than 250miles out of the 100 liter tank.
But it makes quite a difference to only average 55 miles than 120 miles per hour as you can driving at night.
On the other hand, by what I have heard about suspensions on american cars(Corvette excluded), maybe 55 isn't such a bad idea.
