The engine cut off is caused by Motronic program. That is standard feature. If you want that removed you need an chip upgrade. At the same time you get a lot of more power and torque. Check details at http://www.viinikellari.com/745/chip.htm


O.K. so I bought an 83 745 and boy, am I clueless..
Car came with a boost gauge and when you really get into the throttle, I am showing 10 lbs of boost. Under the hood [passenger side] there is a black plastic valve that appears to adjust air flow from the air filter to a metal item that looks like a fuel regulator???? I thought 6 lbs was max. on this car, has it been modified??? Anybody know what is going on?? Any advice?? I hit about 12 lbs
at one point and it felt like the ignition was cut off- normal?? Thanx - Don
By the way- car runs like a bat out of hell!
