Thanks to Geoff and Jens for the instructions on getting to the AC thumbwheel switch. I was able to get to it, repair the plastic cover tab that broke and I re-assembled the dash.

Now, the switch moves good... it clicks well between 1, 2, and 3... but none of the AC functions seem to work. I don't think they have ever worked. (We've owned the car for a year)

The AC control push buttons are acting strange. The push buttons don't stick consistently (I've got to push pretty hard to get one to stay in) and only the defrost switch lights up. The others (like AC bi-level) I can get to momentarily flicker on if I push in hard enough.. but no air movement in any case.

Anyone got suggestions? I'm also at a loss with the placement of various fuses in the fusebox... I'll be posting something about that shortly... I don't know if these two problems are linked or not, but any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rajiv

Rajiv,
Have you check to see if your Vacuum pump is working, it is under the hood by the drivers side strut, it should come on for a bit when you turn the key to the ON(postition 2). That was my problem when my grenn lights flickered a little. Hope that helps any.

Daniel
