I repaired my pushbuttons by dismantling the button assembly and adding(leave the old spring in!)a center spring salvaged from a pen!I tried replacing the spring but found that it would cock to one side and malfunction.By installing a second spring(it fit inside of the first spring)I found it to work perfectly.
