Wouldn't look right, because of doorframes.
A 6 series is possibly a better object.
I wouldn't consider to do any radical mod.
But as it happens I have three more or less identical cars. And it's boring.
So I am affraid one of them will have someting done to the roof.
It's either the Estate(Station/Turnier/Kombi) conversion or what looks to be the most interesting one, to chop the roof at B-post bring the C-post forward with rear screen.
Bottom edge of rear screen should finish half length on the rear door.
From there to the back it's pick-up.
Should look quite fine a relatively easy to do.
Not sure about the look s with the original rear screen and angle.
Maybe roof should only be chopped at half lengt rear door and come straight down.
Have to try it in Photoshop first.
Here you pay very little for E23's, for a good reason because most of them for sale are technically in a sorry state.
Not necessarelly optically.
