Do you own a garage. How the hell do you peform such a task?! I thought we had a good set of DIY tools at home, but you must need to have a fat garage to do that sort of stuff (and a tolerant girl friend/wife)!

I think the estate would be a safer bet, but care ful not to make it look like a herse. I have definately seen an estate E23 somewhere - It might be in the gallery here?

You could keep the interiour the same, but take the boot lid off and build up the boot sides to make a 4 dr pickup? This would be easier, and probably safer.

A black, orange or purple one would look interesting - I am in real danger of offending people here. And tint the windows - maybe yellow paintwork and total black windows. You could create a tail gate also, and a roll bar with search lights on (like some of the US pickups).I have not got photopaint (I don't think) but that WOULD look class!!! Plus I don't know your technical limitations/budget but raised suspension and fat tyres.
What do you think? - maybe a bit OTT?
