I had two e28 fives when new and they were great. I would take a USA market e28 over an USA market e23 anytime. BUT....I would take a Euro e23 over the USA e28. Just an opinion, mine!

The 5er is feels lighter, more nimble. You can't beat the 7 for road trips. Different horses for different courses.
