I'm not sure what you are asking, there are 4 bolts that hold the fan blade to the clutch, about 10-12 mm, but they are a b*tch to get at with the assembly on the car.

I think you mean the large nut that holds the clutch to the water pump shaft, it is 32mm. I bought a cheap ($8) 1 1/4" wrench at Autozone, then ground it thinner to fit my daughters 325, and it works great. I didn't even have to enlarge the open end. Just tapping the wrench towards the drivers side whilst holding the alternator belt tight has worked for me on about about 5 different cars now.

It is much easier to separate the fan and clutch once the assembly is removed from the car, also a good time to clean the dirt and goo that has a tendency to accumulate there.

can you use an open end or closed wrench to take off the nut that holding the fan blade to the clutch? what size?
