She (83)experiences a stutter or shudder between 2 and 3k RPM. I have checked and replaced numerous components without success. Recently I checked the fuel pressure and it holds steady at at 30 psi when running, but it almost immediately falls to 0 when shut down. I am wondering if they are related? Before I start replacing components of the injection system does anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here?

When I pulled primary fuel pump found the rubber hose that connects the pump to metal fuel line was split. So main pump was doing all the work, and had no check valve for fuel pressure.
