Steve, Keven, other electronic gurus,

The 1N4002, 1 Amp General Purpose Silicon Rectifier is out of stock at Radio Shack.... see:

http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F010%5F005%5F003%5F002&product%5Fid=900%2D2870

As is the 4003 and the 4001.

However, I can order the 4004.... see:
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F010%5F005%5F003%5F002&product%5Fid=900%2D2872

Appears the only difference is the Maximum recurrent peak reverse voltage (VRRR) (100V for the 4002 versus 400V for the 4004).

Should that matter? Seems like in either case the max voltage should never exceed about 12 to 15V. What do you think? Thanks, Rick
