Louisville looks like a good idea, kind of neutral to the states on the East as well as SOuth (Texas, Louisiana), and is still Canada friendly. I was also looking at my alma mater, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. It is one of the most beautiful college campuses (commissioned by President Washington in the 1700's), and it is in southern ohio, 20 miles from the Indiana border. I figure people from the Atlanta (6-8hrs), Texas(8-12 hrs), Louisiana(8-12 hrs), Northern Florida(10-12hrs) as well as some of the eastern states can get there in less than 12 hours; and the people from Canada can get there in less than 12 (Montreal) hours too. It is an hour northwest of Cincinnatti (the closest city), so there is nothing around for a while (maybe not so good). But the back country roads are a hoot!!!!
