Ohio is a self-professed Police State, in the context that in pursuit of a crime, law enforcement can do no wrong. Crime defined as:
I was transported 20 miles, handcuffed in the back of a patrol car for, GET THIS, a warrant on a $5 parking ticket. 1 AM in the morning, and my lady friend had to drive my car, following the officer to the "transfer point" where another officer would meet us to issue a mandatory court appearance ticket and let me go home. She had to drive in excess of 70 MPH most of the way. It's a wonder the officer didn't turn around and cite her for speeding. She was totally unfamiliar with my car, but it was her drive it, or have it towed at a cost of $160. It is commonly known, at least in the Cincinnati area, that if someone flashes their headlights at you, look for an officer nearby. It never failed and it happened, on average 3-5 times a day.
I never saw so many police stations in my life.
Whenever I go East, I go WAY around Ohio.
