Does anyone have some sort of book lying around that they could look in and tell me the camshaft journal diameters on a 1979 728i. Or, would they know someplace where I might find this information. Perhaps someone has access to a "Motor's Manual". They have been known to have such information. My car is down, and I need this information to base my decision on which way to go. I can find information Sunday (hopefully), and proceed Monday.

I drive an e23 728i (M20). I have the microfiche. Could take some searching at the local library on their MF reader, but if you don't have any luck on your end I'll go down and look. Give me a shout if you need me. ADL.
