Hey John, and others. Some words on etiquette and (archive)

I believe that in order to nurture the wonderful dynamics on this board, it's important that we refrain from asking specific board members questions for which the answers are commonly known by many. Asking questions specifically to one person, because somehow you feel that your question will be answered by a "master guru", isn't fair to everyone else here. Each one of us on this board should rightly feel the privilege of equal membership, and as such, should be awarded equal opportunity at posting an answer. Personally, I feel that there are others on this board that have greater knowledge than me, after all, I consider myself just a humble, part-time backyard mechanic. It's just about simple respect.

Now if you want to pay homage to the master of all gurus, Mr. Jens himself, by asking for him and only him, I'm sure none of us would mind that.

HELLO GENTLEMEN: I NEED YOUR HELP IN SOLVING A FEW PROBELMS: 1. AFTER WARMING UP CAR I AM GETTING A VERY LOW IDLE ABOUT 400-500 RPMS BUT THIS ONLY HAPPENS WHEN THE CAR IS A NORMAL RUNNING TEMP. AND IN GEAR. 2. I HAD THE VAPOR LOCK PROBLEM AND BOUGHT THE CHECK VALVE FROM BMW ($3.00). MY BMW CERTIFIED MECHANIC INSTALLED TO LINE LEADING BACK TO THE TANK IS THIS CORRECT???(THE LIE THAT RUNS FROM THE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR) 3. ALSO FROM READING OTHER POST IT SEEMS TO ME THAT I WILL BE NEEDING AN INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR FUEL PUMPS. DO U RECOMMEND THE VEGA FIX FOR THE IN-TANK PUMP AND WHAT WOULD USE FOR OUTSIDE FUEL PUMP? ANY HELP TO THESE QUESTIONS WILL BE HELPFUL?????? PLEASE ANYONE ELSE READING THIS IF U HAVE ANY IDEAS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO SEND THEM. THANK U.
