The stock injectors flow 207-213 cc/min and the injectors I bought are the lower of the two offered; mine flow 220 cc/min (219-221 tolerance). THe large upgrade, which is only recommended for racing and high high boost, is the 270+ cc/min. The rule of thumb (that they recommend) is not to go over 5% to maintain everyday driving characteristics.
The problem with my car was that the vacuum/boost valve by the airbox was bad and making my car run lean. So not knowing what was wrong, the dealer richened the mixture. Then I found out that was bad and replaced it, then my car ran rich. The dealer adjusted it a little, but I think it is still just a little bit rich. Hopefully this summer, I can get a gas analyzer (that same unit I think you recommended) and do the tuning from there (with the instructions I have learned on the board). The plugs arent that carbon-y, so I guess that it will be OK for a little while. I only put on a couple hundered miles a month.

THey can still be made better. I just got some larger intercooler pipes this past weekend. With no other upgrades (except RC Injectors), this thing is going to fly. The pipe running from the turbo to the intercooler is now at a full 2" intead of being bumped down.
And who is to deem what privilages someone should have in the land of the free, the government. Those two things just don't make sense: Land of the free and GOVERNMENT. Freedom with government.
So some more criminals might be put in jail; or some more criminals have more solid ways to cover-up their crimes by using someone elses DNA; or more innocent people are put in jail because their DNA is found; or these innocent people are made to testify because their DNA was found and now they are at a bottom of a river because the government was going to make them testify against this criminal.
In response to what you said Bruce, I was in this mayors traffic court when a Blue collared black man was telling the judge how he had to rush home from daycare to take his mother to the hospital. Hee had all the hospital admission papers and even a proof of daycare, and he wasn't even speeding that much on the ticket (40 something in a 35). THe *$@%* mayor, would not let this guy off his ticket and said guilty. A week later my dad in his new lincon gets a ticket and shows up. All the mayor does is smile and make a small joke, and lets him off (and he had no defense). He was even going over 50 in a 35 and the other guy wan't near 50. My point is that they do what they want with no respect for what is equitable, or justice worthy. After a 40 some year old guy tried three times to run me off the road, he finally struck my car on the fourth violent swerve, and when the police arrived, I was threatened with 6 months in jail if I: 1. got out of my car 2.said one word (tried to give a story). THe middle aged guy was out leaning on his car chatting with the cop for an hour before he left, the cop came up to me and handed me a ticket for reckless driving. I asked him to take pictures our cars and check my door handle for fingerprints because the idiot tried toassult me multiple times and he laughed in my face and said I was lucky not to be in jail. BTW, reckless driving is one worse than a DUI - 6 months in jail, five point violation and automatic suspension.
The FBI makes me a prime suspect because I used the same public phone as some idiot who shot some guy and now I am in jail for 25 years because some judge and jury believes I am guilty because I don't make $30,000 a year or have a college education. All technology used to make law inforcement infalable is going to, ultimately, send more innocent people to jail just because everone will believe the system is infalable.
It will be an invasion of privacy when you have to post bail for a crime you didn't commit. And yes, I am against traffic cameras too. There is no way I am going to raise my children in a world where they can't walk down the street without Big Brother watching them. There is no way my daughter is going to grow up in a world where she can't hold hands with her boyfriend in a car (hopefully turbocharged) without that intamacy being invaded by a camera starring at them 24/7.

PS my original post was going to be three to four paragraphs longer.....anyone else want to contribute to this subject? I would love to hear views.
and I don't recall driving listed! Your judge sounded racist and underscores that our system isn't perfect but it, our system, is far better than anything I have seen in my world travels.
As to your encounter with "a 40 some year old guy" I suspect that we haven't heard the whole story. As my pappy use to say "3 sides to every story, yours, his and the truth"!
Let's leave it at this, we agree to disagree on this issue. This isn't the forum for this debate. Let us get back to our common interest, BMWs.

I am familar with RC and have heard that they have a bigger 745 injector. Is this what you used? What did you do on the AFM to compensate for the extra fuel?
Thanks,
