What does the M30 engine sound like when the Timing Chain Tensioner needs replacing???
My engine makes a Diesel engine soung for the first 30 seconds after it is started cold. But, the Oil Pressure light only takes 2 seconds or less to go off after first starting. So, I have ruled out Drain Back.

I did have one missing Banjo Bolt when I first bought the car. The previous owner never drove over 45 mph. And changed the oil every 3000 miles. They are Saftey Wired NOW!!

Your comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom 3.5 liter with 113,000 miles
