Now on Tuoma's speedo he has only extended the speed numbers past it's existing final point.

I would rather be nicer just to have a much higher number in the same position as the highest no is now.
This would mean that the needle would have to travel a shorter distance to reach, lets say 100mph, than before.
I wonder if it can be recalibrated to do this.
One could even adopt the "km values" to be miles on the original metric dial.
But can the speedo be tweaked enough to work this way?
On the making of dials. There are posibly other sources as a supply alternative.
A few years back I had a wrist wratch dial redone as the original was completely faded away.
They completely rebuild it from archival photos and it had cost me £25($40 approx.)
It was brilliant.
I think the technology used for this is a computer and some sort of transfer foil material.
