Mark, do you mean that the starter is not turning the engine over or that the starter turns the engine over, but the engine does not then start and run?

If it's the former, maybe there's a problem with your solenoid or the flywheel.

If it's the latter, and you're getting gas, then have you checked your compression?

Just some things to consider.
