Can anyone tell me how to safely remove my headliner without damage so that I can get to the sunroof motor? My motor doesn't run but there is 12V at the switch and operating the switch does load down the electrical system. I'm assuming excessive moisture and inadequate usage have caused the either sunroof slides, the cables or the motor to freeze up. (Other moving parts have had similar problems, such as the bonnet hinges!) My sunroof has no handcrank feature/access so I'm assumnig I have to get the headliner out. I removed the grab handles and visor clips but still could not get the liner down. What's the secret?
