Synthetic oil does not "dry" up the seals. I use Mobil 1 in my 325 & always in the 745. The problem with synthetic that people warn you about is that it permeates everything, and if your seals are marginal, it will begin to leak, where before you didn't have leaks. Adding dino oil won't do anything at all. It's a waste of $$$/

Cannister has to come off for cleaning.
