Well, I've sorted out a few of the bugs in the Raj-sourced 745i and I must say this car impresses the heck outta me!~ Last weekend's project was gutting the shreaded tan cloth interior and clearing out all the dust and little rat-dog hair, then replacing the filthy molded carpet, door panels, and seats with a nice black leather interior I got from another forum member. Now the inside don't smell anymore, as soon as I get the seat switches for the console I can pretty much finish off the interior refurb----unless of course someone has a clean crack-free dash for me???

On to the topic of the post, I am not really convinced I need the self-leveling rear suspension, so with replacement in mind what are my options and what do I need? Can Bilsteins be used with my old springs? Is there a "perch" necessary? What Bilstein/perch combination would be recommended for a late-body 83? (dare I ask) part numbers or a good source?

t.i.a.

Dale
