To sum it up brutaly.

"The E23 is a very nice car, but worthless."

The problem is, that's it's value is to much within it's own followship and fans.

It does generally not attract other collectors to invest in buying these cars to keep prices high accross the range of all E23's on the road and ideally even scrapyard shells.

There are enough shells which are more valuable than a mint condition E23.

Let's hope this does change over the coming 10-20 years.
