I pulled the pump assembly out of my Dinanized car, and installed it in the Plum. Still haven't diagnosed the switch yet.

Jumping the pins on the relay socket causes the pump to run, and within 30 seconds the fluid level in the tank has dropped 1/2 inch, but no discernable movement of the car.

Within a minute or 2 the resevoir has returned to the previous level.

Hmmmmm.
