I guess I better allocate some more time to it ehh? Maybe mine will be easier, only 40K miles and the front seal on the existing diff has been leaking so everything is pretty greased up :-)
Oh well, it will keep me busy whilst I wait to sort out my SLS problems.

Holy s#@%!!! What an episode that was! Removing the output shafts wasn't so bad, but the 4 19mm bolts holding the diff to the subframe, whoa! Nicely rusted and torqued stiff! I had to put all my weight into undoing those bolts, and I am not a small guy (6,1 205lbs), even then I was still sliding across my driveway!! A job that should have taken me 2hrs max, ended up taking me 4.5! Oh well, atleast the diff was light, after the removal I just threw 'er on my shoulder, put 'er in the shed and called it a day.
Stay tuned for next week's episode when I attempt to disassemble the whole front brake/suspension/steering assemblies!!!
