The Aiowa brand is an indash unit. I do have fiber optic capabilities for my computer, but currently, I use cable between my Yamaha DTX (electronic drums), my computer (the very latest sound blaster WITH remote for my computer), and my stereo system.

Buggy whip? Are you certain the wheel has been invented? :-)

Okay, so what the heck is an aiowa? Does it fit in the trunk and you just control it from the remote or is it an indash headunit connected by fiber optic cable to relay stations and then back to your house? I have thought about getting a player that plays mp3s but most of them are pretty darn garish for the dash of the 735i. Going the mp3 route would require purchasing a new cd burner (I have one for my home stereo so I guess I would have to buy one for my iMac and then invest in some wiring The whole thing just seems to get very fussy. Mind you, I like electronics and have a very nice Rotel home stereo setup. Just as I keep my home stereo away from my television I guess I want to keep it away from my computer as well! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go find my buggy whip.
