This cupholder was actually in my 733i when I bought the car. There is a thumbwheel on the side that actually tightends the two clamping tabs on the bottom and you turn the large horizontal wheel to move the uprights for small/large cups. Of all places to mount it, it was clamped to the parking brake handle. Wouldn't you love to have a nice hot latte there, and have to go panic stop for the parking brake in the event of a brake failure. Gee, am I too paranoid???
