1. Sounds like a bad connection in the dash cluster, usually it is a bad ground and the gauge reads high. Could be at the gauge itself.

2. I had similiar problems with mine, you are loosing vacuum in one of the vacuum servos, mine was the defrost one under the dash, a real pain, but I hear some require the removeal of the dash to replace.

3. Sunroof drains? or perhaps the windshield gasket.

5. Well into moderate, not easy particularly on the front as you have to compress the springs.

6. Center tie rod is an assembly, the left and right have replaceable ends.

On your water pump, it seems a lot of the 7's used the early style pump and fan clutch, but not 5's and 6's. I have no idea why or which is better.
