Make sure that your strut tower bearing is O.K.
Too often people replace the struts and end up with a clunking front end.
How often do you all change shocks on an e23? I have 136k on the car and am not sure if they have ever been changed.

should I go with a standard replacement or is this something worth upgrading, and if so to what?

Also, is there anyrhting else I should have the shop do while this work is being done?

Thanks again,

david
