You need to insulate that line that is condensating. Cork tape is the original and available from refrigeration supply houses, but anything that seals and insulates will work ok. I don't know on the 7's but on other one's I've had the condensate drain was in the middle of the A/C unit, which was really a seperate assembly. On the E-23 it is integreated into the entire heater assy, but I would suspect it is still in the middle, on the bottom of course. On an old Bavaria I used to have, when I put in the A/C I neglected to put in the A/C drain and after a while I could hear the fan hit the water after a while and it would actually splash out of the housing. Nothing like you are describing but here in the SF bay area it wouldn't be as bad for condensation as your area. And have a beer for me!
