Irresponsible 59 year old with my own business and a schedule to keep as well. I go with the adventure, plus any responsible business man surely has some vacation, sick, and comp time coming. So what if you got the car halfway home and it broke. The good news is less distance to ship it. I still go with my argument that if it's worth the money, it sure as hell better be able to make a 750 mile trip. I do not let my life be governed by the paranoid supposed frailty's of a 20 year old car. At 59, after driving 40 plus years of both new cars and beaters, restored and not so restored cars, I have never been left stranded that far away from a phone, or a place I could not leave a car for a few days.

Yes, it would be nice if life was predictable and secure, but what the hell fun would that be. If you have that much reserve at age 22, you better get on the stick young man. Life is waiting for you to reach out and take a few chances.
