Add a Remote Access (archive)

Got the central locking system working on all doors now! Slowly but surely this car is coming back to life. Of course, the drivers door locking mech. is worn to the point that it won't reliably unlock all the doors (sometimes needs a bit of a pull on the locking button inside to get the CLS to activate), but all things considered, working really well.

A "modern" remote access system works well with the e23 locking system and is relatively easy to add. Several sources are JC Whitney, AutoLoc, Bavarian Auto and BMP ...

FWIW... Go JCWhitney... they cost less and as near as I can tell, all the systems are made by the same folks and marketed under different names and price ranges, but the boards, connectors and packaging all look the same...
