: #1,Does the interior light have a timer and if so, where is it? The pass door lights it but the drivers doesn't, the switch is ok and is designed to accomidate a time delay circuit.
#1 The interior light has an 8 second delay feature, which is defeated when you turn the key. Note the delay feature is enabled when the drivers door handle switch AND the door jamb switches are electrically closed. It is not enabled by the inside door latch or the passenger door. May be wired incorrectly at the control unit? The control unit for this is probably located under the LH side of the dash.

Try to get the Electrical Trouble Shooting Manual (ETM) for your year of car. Pretty much esential for the types of problems you are trying to sort out. Dealer has them I believe, or several sources on the 'net. I got mine on eBay....
