I believe that due to the aerodynamics of the 6 series, it does not need a deflector to keep the noise level down or the interior from reaching a resonance (my Jaguar never had one and unless you open the rear windows with the sun roof more than 3/4 open the whole cabin resonates at about 5 hz-very interesting).
