need help with 635 seats!!! (archive)

My car has the electrical adjustment at the front of the seat bottom, but only the passenger side seat works. everything else on the driver's seat works- headrests included- but not that. I wonder if it is the switch (one of my rear window switches has also gone bad) or something inside the seat. if it is something inside the seat, is it expensive to replace- i am short and do not really need the adjustment.
